Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety inspections at multiple active construction sites.
- Draft and deliver thorough safety inspection reports for internal and regulatory review.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Health & Safety procedures.
- Facilitate safety training sessions for on-site teams to promote a culture of compliance.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards, NYC Building Code, and other safety guidelines.
- Provide direct, hands-on safety oversight at job sites to ensure protocols are executed properly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of proven experience in construction safety or site safety inspections.
- OSHA 30-hour certification is mandatory.
- A valid Site Safety Training (SST) card.
- Reliable transportation for commuting between job sites across all five NYC boroughs.
- Deep familiarity with OSHA, NYC Department of Buildings, DEP, DOT, and other safety regulations.
- Strong track record in conducting inspections and generating actionable safety reports.
⭐ Preferred Certifications
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) is highly valued.
- Additional certifications in safety training provide a competitive edge.
