Position Overview
King & George, LLC is hiring a qualified Site Safety Health Officer in Oceanside, USA to lead workplace safety compliance and risk management initiatives. This role supports organizational excellence through safety planning, training, documentation, and adherence to regulatory standards.
️ Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills aligned with site safety standards.
- Read, write, and interpret technical documents and safety guidelines accurately.
- Maintain performance in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Apply fundamental math skills to analyze safety data and metrics including ratios, percentages, and volume.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively for safety documentation and reporting.
- Apply concepts of algebra, geometry, and data visualization tools (e.g., bar graphs) for inspections and evaluations.
Education & Certification Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred or possess one or more of the following:
- Safety Management Specialist (SMS)
- Safety Trained Supervisor (STS or STSC)
- Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT)
- Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
- Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST)
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
- Certifications in quality preferred, such as:
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
- Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety, risk, or health management roles.
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety laws, regulations, and standards.
- Strong understanding of risk mitigation strategies and safety auditing.
- Well-versed in quality control, performance improvement, and regulatory best practices.
