In this role, you’ll take the lead in implementing and improving health, safety, and environmental protocols on active construction sites. If you have a strong understanding of OSHA standards, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to protecting people and projects — we want to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities
- Apply and continuously enhance project safety requirements based on E&C procedures and site-specific needs.
- Oversee safety aspects of construction, erection, and commissioning activities.
- Issue work permits and ensure safe, compliant work environments.
- Respond effectively to safety incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate site logs and client attendance records.
- Lead safety training sessions for E&C employees.
- Implement client-specific HSE requirements across the project.
- Support contractors in aligning with the project’s HSE system.
- Identify site hazards and help prepare documentation for new projects.
- Investigate safety incidents and submit detailed reports.
- Promote and implement jobsite safety campaigns.
- Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections.
- Contribute to the improvement of the Site HSE Management System based on findings.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree or diploma in Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) or related field.
- OSHA 30 certification (or higher).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction HSE roles.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Ability to train others in:
- General site safety
- Working at height
- Confined space safety
- Scaffolding inspection and acceptance
- Road safety protocols
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Electrical and commissioning safety
- Understanding of technical safety in construction, chemical, and gas operations.
- Familiarity with construction project execution and associated risks.
