Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement EHS Policies: Design and execute comprehensive EHS policies, management systems, strategic plans, training programs, and procedures in alignment with international ISO standards and behavior-based safety practices.
  • Promote a Zero-Accident Culture: Oversee safety operations with a strong focus on achieving zero accidents and preventing losses due to fire incidents.
  • Fire Safety Management: Design, implement, and monitor fire safety systems, ensuring 24/7 deployment and coordination of fire personnel.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Drive preventive maintenance programs for all fire and safety equipment to ensure reliability and compliance.
  • Traffic Management: Establish and manage traffic control systems to minimize accidents and improve onsite safety.
  • Safety Performance Monitoring: Regularly track safety metrics, set performance goals, and implement proactive initiatives to enhance workplace safety standards.
  • Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Lead thorough investigations into safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Act as a liaison between regulatory agencies and operational teams.
  • Behavior-Based Safety Programs: Manage and promote behavior-based safety initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate safety objectives.
  • Incident Tracking and Reporting: Analyze incidents, trends, and data to develop and implement targeted initiatives that mitigate risks and enhance overall safety.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with business leaders to foster a culture of safety and compliance across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in EHS management systems and behavior-based safety practices.
  • Strong knowledge of international safety standards, including ISO guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives, prevent accidents, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with regulatory bodies.
