About the Role

FNRCO is looking for an experienced Safety Instructor to join our WPR Program in Dammam, Eastern Province. This position is ideal for safety professionals who thrive on training, development, and building a strong safety culture within the oil & gas, petrochemical, and heavy construction sectors.
As a Safety Instructor, you’ll play a key role in delivering hands-on, engaging, and high-impact safety training aligned with international best practices. Your expertise will help ensure workers not only understand safety standards—but live by them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead safety training sessions focused on occupational and industrial safety.
- Develop modern training materials using blended learning techniques and simulation tools.
- Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback for skill enhancement.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance during all training activities.
- Offer expert consultation and technical guidance on industrial and operational safety practices.
- Collaborate with the HSE team to maintain an effective and hazard-free training environment.
- Stay current with evolving global safety regulations and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Industrial/Vocational Education from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of practical experience in industrial safety or safety training, ideally within oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, or plant operations.
Certifications:
- OSHA
- NEBOSH
- IOSH
- NSC Advanced Certificate
Language:
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
Core Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Strong command of industrial safety systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with high-risk operational environments like oil & gas or chemical plants.
- Knowledge of training technologies including blended learning and safety simulations.
Soft Skills:
- Clear and confident communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to engage trainees and work closely with teams.
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt in fast-paced training environments.
