Key Responsibilities
- Worker’s Compensation Management: Oversee and manage worker’s compensation cases.
- Risk & Safety Assessments: Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize safety hazards.
- Collaboration with Teams: Lead meetings with operations teams and clients to review accidents, injuries, and preventive measures.
- Drug & Alcohol Program Implementation: Manage on-the-job drug and alcohol programs to ensure compliance.
- DOT Program Coordination: Collaborate with state Department of Transportation (DOT) to align with required standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related discipline is preferred.
- Experience: Prior field operations experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with equipment, policies, procedures, and safety strategies for local and state compliance.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills to guide teams effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
