The Safety team of Compu Dynamics organization needs a dedicated proactive Safety Coordinator. Our ideal candidate brings accumulated safety knowledge and strong dedication to developing safety excellence within the workplace.

Essential Functions:

Our organization provides appropriate adjustments which allow disabled employees to carry out fundamental job responsibilities.

  • The individual oversees both the security of job site locations as well as the safety of all personnel operating there.
  • The individual completes risk evaluation procedures followed by implementation of protective measures.
  • The staff member delivers annual CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens Training and other required training to the entire workforce.
  • Assists with incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • This duty authorizes the prevention of unsafe operations together with activities failing to meet EHS requirements.
  • The position helps monitor current operational policies and measures for maintenance while performing necessary updates that align with legislative requirements and modern practices.
  • The establishment or creation of weekly toolbox trainings with emphasis on compliance standards is a responsibility of this position.
  • The implementation of safety content and space management tasks for meetings are handled by this person.
  • Assists with coordinating guest safety speakers.
  • The employee conducts job site inspections for identifying both problems and violations of safety standards.
  • The Safety Manager receives regular information updates from the employee.
  • The employee supports initiatives to create and deploy training programs that match organizational needs.
  • The position ensures PPE equipment supplies stay in inventory and makes procurement orders when needed.
  • Maintains Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • The employee will perform Safety Officer responsibilities whenever needed.
  • The operator maintains secure vehicle and equipment use as well as follows safety protocols while reporting potential risks through their actions they contribute to maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Other job functions as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma and/or equivalent of education and experience
  • 3+ years of relevant construction experience
  • An individual must possess three to four years of teaching experience together with training expertise in CPR and First Aid with Bloodborne Pathogens.
  • Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety or equivalent work experience
  • OSHA 10
