Essential Functions
- Manage and monitor safety programs to comply with federal, state, and local regulations
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on job sites
- Support incident investigations, compile findings, and assist in implementing corrective measures
- Deliver effective safety training, orientations, and refreshers for employees, subcontractors, and new hires
- Collaborate with project teams to identify safety risks and recommend preventive actions
- Maintain accurate documentation for safety records, compliance, and performance metrics
- Foster a culture of proactive safety awareness and accountability at every level
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant safety experience in commercial construction environments
- Certified Safety Technician (CST) credential is required
- CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30/510 certifications are highly desirable
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Advanced understanding of construction safety standards and practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to travel between job sites as project needs dictate
