Main Responsibilities:
You will assist UK HSEQ Manager and regional management teams in their work by:
- You will execute HSEQ procedures and guide UK regional leaders about health and safety legislation for the country.
- The job requires assistance with managing systems for ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 to maintain compliance standards and improve performance.
- The staff member will conduct site audits and inspections along with implementing HSEQ best practices throughout the region.
- The HSEQ coach mentors his team members to develop HSEQ competencies that span through the entire business organization.
- The manager contributes to HSEQ plan management alongside KPIs to track enhanced safety metrics and better compliance.
- The IMS documentation along with policies and assessments together with systems of work requires review and update to maintain alignment with Konecranes Global standards and UK legislation as well as industry requirements.
- The organization must preserve all SSIPs and other accreditations while maintaining certification compliance standards.
- The position involves supporting Incident Management System (ARMOR) effective use by entering data while tracking incident follow-up procedures.
- The job responsibilities include supporting HSEQ documentation while assisting vendor prequalification activities and participating in audit preparation projects internal and external.
- The position involves cultural development of safe practices and helping with HSEQ messaging across the regional sphere.
- The role necessitates business travel to regional teams for hands-on HSEQ support while helping teams implement needed onsite solutions.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Certificate, preferably with Grad IOSH membership, and a solid understanding of the ongoing management of ISO standards (45001, 14001, and 9001).
Desirable:
- The candidate possesses four key credentials including ISO Auditor certification, Six Sigma qualifications, practical knowledge in incident investigation with root cause analysis and competence in behavioural-based safety combined with skills in building positive safety cultures.
Experience:
- The required candidate must come from a background of HSEQ positions with equivalent responsibilities within construction or manufacturing and lifting operations or heavy machinery service.
Skills:
- The candidate needs excellent abilities to produce written documents together with presentational skills and training delivery for diverse purposes.
Solid understanding of UK HSE legislation. - The candidate should possess both audit and management skills for the ISO standards 45001, 14001 and 9001.
- The expert needs knowledge of risk assessment techniques while also understanding hazard identification and control measure development process.
Competence in incident investigation and root cause analysis methods (e.g., 5 Whys & Fishbone). - The professional needs in-depth knowledge about safety management systems for their implementation and monitoring aspects.
- The ability to analyze complex systems enables competent employees to find both system weaknesses and dangerous risks.
- The expert uses critical thinking abilities to develop and execute successful corrective actions together with improvements.
