Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field safety audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Lead accident and incident investigations, providing clear and accurate reports.
  • Assist in document collection and safety data while working in the field.
  • Support training functions, ensuring all staff are properly informed on safety procedures.
  • Investigate instances of non-conformance, working with management to determine the root cause and corrective actions.
  • Offer valuable input and recommendations to management on safety practices.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, company, and site-specific safety procedures.
  • Identify safety hazards and promptly suggest resolutions to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate and oversee monthly and quarterly inspections on tools and safety equipment.
  • Present findings and safety information effectively to large groups.
  • Perform additional safety-related tasks as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) or related field with at least three (3) years of experience in construction safety.
  • Prior experience in the construction of renewable power plants, conventional power plants, HV Substations, and HV Transmission Lines is preferred.
  • Certifications required: CHST, OSHA 30, and OSHA 510. Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data entry and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for the role.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

  • College degree in HSE or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in construction safety.
