Key Responsibilities
HSE Duties:
- Ensure full compliance with Maersk Training’s HSE policies and industry standards
- Conduct site-wide risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety audits
- Lead incident reporting, promote near-miss awareness, and support root cause analysis
- Organize and run emergency drills and safety awareness campaigns
- Collaborate closely with field teams to drive a proactive safety culture
- Maintain and manage all HSE documentation as per Saudi regulations and company guidelines
H2S Safety Duties:
- Operate and maintain H2S Detection Systems and Air Breathing Apparatus on both land and offshore rigs
- Deliver H2S awareness training and emergency response guidance to site personnel
- Ensure Cascade Air Banks, EEBDs, and SCBAs are fully functional and within compliance
- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and testing of safety equipment and compressors
- Complete all H2S Safety Service documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain equipment inventory and cleanliness of all PPE, breathing masks, and work areas
- Provide support to team members and maintain regular communication with supervisors and clients
✅ What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH-certified with over 5 years of relevant HSE experience
- Strong understanding of SAWCOD requirements with valid SAWCOD approval
- Proven background in the oil & gas sector – especially in H2S operations
- Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is a strong plus
- Must hold a valid Iqama with a safety-related job title
- Strong English communication, observation, and leadership skills
- Offshore and remote site experience preferred
- Valid health certificate is mandatory
- A can-do attitude and a commitment to working in challenging, high-risk environments
