Key Responsibilities
As the QHSE Supervisor, you will:
- Act as the primary contact for all QHSE matters within the Service Delivery Projects team.
- Oversee local compliance with QHSE management systems, addressing gaps and identifying trends.
- Collaborate with a team of HSE specialists to deliver practical solutions.
- Provide guidance and promote best practices for Osprey’s development projects.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) data.
- Maintain and advance environmental compliance and standards.
- Foster a positive culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility.
- Analyze safety trends and recommend improvement strategies to operational teams.
- Coach and support the Long-Term Projects team on QHSE management systems.
- Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with requirements.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Experience: At least 5 years in a heavy industry setting.
- Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Expertise: Familiarity with ISO standards, high-level management systems, and stakeholder engagement.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivation, team collaboration, and the ability to work independently.
- Problem-solving and innovative thinking to propose new methods or improvements.
- Other Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of planning/logistics processes.
- A full UK driving license.
