RWE, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support its offshore operations from Herning, Denmark. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance for offshore wind and energy projects.
Key Job Requirements & Experience
- A degree in Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related technical field is essential.
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience, preferably in offshore wind, oil & gas, or the energy sector.
- Advanced safety qualifications are highly valued — additional qualifications in environmental management are a plus.
- Certifications such as ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 Internal Auditor and Root Cause Analysis training are desirable.
- Practical experience in building and maintaining certified HSE Management Systems.
- GWO (Global Wind Organisation) Basic Safety Training certification is advantageous.

- Customer-focused with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong listening, reporting, and coordination skills for dynamic HSE operations.

- Medical clearance according to legal offshore standards is mandatory.
Travel & Language Requirements
- Willingness to travel internationally and visit other RWE offshore wind farms for site alignment and collaboration.
- Valid driving license is essential for local and international travel purposes.
- Fluency in both Danish and English (spoken and written) is required; additional languages are an asset.
