Key Responsibilities
- Support the shift toward a proactive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture aimed at zero accidents and incidents.
- Coordinate and oversee the rollout and continuous improvement of Health & Safety programs.
- Participate in incident investigations, helping identify root causes and ensuring non-conformances are resolved.
- Provide expert HSE guidance during project development and operational changes.
- Monitor incidents through a real-time reporting system and support follow-up actions with the HSE Pillar team or safety committee.
- Drive corrective action plans to prevent recurrence and reduce workplace risk.
- Develop training initiatives focused on recognizing and eliminating physical hazards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in Environmental Health and Safety within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Completion of formal training in key areas such as OSHA, EPA, and DNREC.
- Strong familiarity with safety and environmental technical standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and leadership levels.
- Working knowledge of regulatory reporting, compliance systems, and ISO standards.
