In this role, you’ll oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while implementing global HSE policies and programs. You’ll play a vital part in fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to local health, safety, and environmental regulations, including Dutch Arbo legislation.
- Policy Implementation: Roll out and maintain global HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, and develop corrective action plans.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, recommending measures to prevent recurrence.
- Best Practices & Lessons Learned: Identify safety best practices and communicate key takeaways to the team.
- Audits & Inspections: Perform HSE audits and monthly workplace safety inspections.
- Emergency Response: Manage emergency response plans and coordinate regular emergency exercises.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees.
- Team Coordination: Supervise local HSE Representatives and ensure effective collaboration.
- Health Surveillance: Oversee the health surveillance program.
- Chemical Management: Maintain a robust chemical management program.
Required Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- MBO 4 level or equivalent working and thinking level.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in health and safety, including audits and investigations.
- Regulatory Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of ARBO legislation and applicable HSE guidelines.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, Search and Rescue (SAR), or aviation industries is a plus.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
