Key Responsibilities
- Financial Impact
- Drive cost-effective HSE initiatives, including Flex, MUV, and expense management.
- Lead and support assigned cost-saving projects with measurable outcomes.
- Developing HSE Policies
- Formulate and execute HSE strategies aligned with corporate policies.
- Adhere to the “Gates License to Stop” protocol to address safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with audit observations through systematic follow-ups.
- Accelerating Growth
- Maintain robust HSE management systems, including ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ZTP standards.
- Regularly review corporate HSE standards and compliance requirements.
- Operational Excellence
- Implement safety measures such as work permit systems, bulletin boards, and risk assessments.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and mitigation for improved site safety.
- Ensure the site achieves zero incidents by maintaining KPIs like TCIR and LTIR at optimal levels.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, local regulations, and government-mandated HSE requirements.
- Manage documentation and submissions for regulatory agencies.
- Building a Culture of Safety
- Conduct engaging and effective safety training sessions for employees.
- Organize toolbox talks and encourage active employee participation in HSE initiatives.
- Celebrate HSE-related achievements and events to foster a positive safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in HSE or related fields.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH Certification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, IFC, and EPA regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with all levels of management.
