Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the environment inventory.
- Generate detailed monthly cost reports for operational environments.
- Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) processes aligned with our policies and procedures.
- Provide technical support for configuration updates, platform enhancements, and data refreshes.
- Identify and resolve environment dependencies while driving continuous improvement through automation.
- Develop and maintain environment blueprint templates and runbooks.
- Collaborate with environment managers, technical project managers, and test managers to coordinate planned outages and environment refreshes.
- Manage environment build requests, including data refreshes, upgrades, access, and decommissioning.
- Create and maintain comprehensive environment forecasts.
- Assist the environment team in planning and strategizing.
- Support the setup of external integrations and third-party system connections.
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and policies, including service accounts, certificate management, secure protocols, and more.
- Identify and mitigate risks while managing issues effectively.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in system architecture best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Azure and integrated systems.
- Strong understanding of code branching and CI/CD processes.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or other collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with environment management tools like Plutora.
- Proven track record in large-scale projects and collaboration with third-party vendors.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, Azure).
- 9 to 13 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in ERP systems (e.g., D365).
Must-Haves
- Previous experience as an Environment Lead.
- Deep understanding of Release and Environment Management governance processes.
- Proficiency in C# or any other programming language.
- Hands-on experience with VSTS or other source control tools.

Specialized Role in Manufacturing Safety
As part of your responsibilities, you will also contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace by:
- Advising management on the prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a secure working environment.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of safety measures.
- Conducting plant safety inspections and recommending improvements.
- Organizing safety campaigns, competitions, and events.
- Ensuring compliance with local legal requirements, including the Factories Act, 1943.
- Investigating incidents and industrial disease cases and ensuring timely reporting.
- Coordinating Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives and follow-ups.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–5 years in the manufacturing industry.
- Certifications: Government-approved Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferably from RLI).
