Your Key Responsibilities

  1. EHS Communication & Collaboration

    • Lead regular meetings with location heads, HODs, and supervisors to discuss EHS themes.
    • Share inspiring safety videos, global updates, and best practices.
    • Foster knowledge exchange with teams across locations, including Naroda.
  2. Reporting & Analysis

    • Manage weekly, monthly, and yearly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, training hours, and incidents.
    • Ensure timely updates in SAP for local and global reporting.
    • Oversee SESIS reporting for waste, energy, fire, and utilities.
  3. Training & Awareness Programs

    • Conduct orientation and validation for new employees.
    • Provide training on ISO standards, fire safety, emergency response, and environmental conservation.
    • Organize mock drills and promote ergonomic and ladder safety awareness.
  4. EHS Audits

    • Perform routine audits for fire safety, electrical safety, HVAC, and occupational safety.
    • Inspect emergency exits, escape routes, and legal compliance under ISO 14001/45001 standards.
  5. Events & Celebrations

    • Lead safety and environmental events such as Safety Week, Environment Day, and Yoga Day.
    • Recognize outstanding employees with rewards and celebrations.
  6. Health & Hygiene

    • Oversee health check-ups, vaccination drives, and canteen staff monitoring.
    • Ensure a hygienic work environment through proactive supervision.
  7. Accident Investigation & Prevention

    • Record near-miss incidents and investigate with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
    • Conduct root-cause analyses for workplace accidents and property damage.
  8. Compliance & Legal Adherence

    • Ensure compliance with all EHS-related legal requirements and certifications.
    • Supervise inspections of firefighting equipment and occupational health standards.
  9. Onboarding Excellence

    • Facilitate onboarding and training for new hires, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into the safety culture.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Qualifications: B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering + specialized training in Industrial Safety or Environmental Protection.
  • Certifications: Internal Auditor certification in ISO 14001/45001/50001.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in safety coordination for a medium-sized organization.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
