Key Responsibilities
- HSE Project Alignment: Support the HSE Manager in ensuring compliance with OHSE policies, legal requirements, and management systems for all project activities, including suppliers and subcontractors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Mentor project managers and construction teams on OHSE requirements to maintain technical and regulatory standards.
- Document Management: Prepare, implement, and maintain essential project documents such as site health and safety plans and environmental construction plans.
- Risk Management: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and control measures to address potential OHSE risks and emergencies.
- Coordination & Reporting: Organize and lead OHSE meetings, prepare reports on incidents, KPIs, and audits, and liaise with subcontractors and clients to ensure compliance.
- Audits & Inspections: Perform daily site inspections, audits, and incident investigations to enhance HSE performance.
- Training & Awareness: Conduct induction and safety training, and ensure all personnel are adequately trained for critical tasks.
- Emergency Preparedness: Organize monthly emergency response exercises and lead management review meetings for continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, or Environmental Management.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in HSE Management within railways, power supply, electromechanical equipment, or transportation.
- Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH certifications preferred. Auditor certifications for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are a plus.
- Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of KSA standards, codes, and regulations, with a proactive approach to staying updated on changes.
