An opportunity is available for a dedicated HSE Intern to support ongoing environmental, health, safety, and quality initiatives at Nadara’s Edinburgh area operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Policy Support & Implementation: Contribute to the development and rollout of environmental and HSE policies, procedures, and performance indicators.
- Procedure Documentation: Assist in drafting and maintaining environmental management procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to align on HSE objectives and integrate feedback into ongoing improvements.
- Sustainability Awareness: Support campaigns and activities that foster a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
- Training Delivery: Identify HSE training needs and help facilitate learning sessions aligned with Nadara’s operational goals.
- Contractor Oversight: Monitor contractor activities to ensure alignment with site-specific Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) requirements.
- Audit & Inspection Tools: Help define and maintain digital systems for auditing, incident tracking, inspections, and environmental data analytics.
- Performance Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying gaps and proposing practical, data-driven solutions.
- Audit Readiness: Take part in internal and external audits of HSE management systems and contribute to post-audit action plans.
- Risk & Hazard Control: Assist in the identification of environmental hazards, evaluate associated risks, and recommend control measures.
- Emergency Planning: Review and support the implementation of emergency response procedures across operational areas.
- Corrective Action Planning: Help maintain preventive and corrective action frameworks, especially those related to wind farm environmental impact.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or holding a NEBOSH Diploma or a degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Holder of a valid driving license for light vehicles.
- Willingness to travel when needed to support project activities.

- Comfortable using modern digital tools, particularly Office 365 platforms.
