Job Responsibilities:

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Security, Compliance, HSE policies, Management Systems, and relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Adhere to the Company’s core values, prioritizing quality, health, safety, security, and environmental protection while safeguarding employees, processes, customers, and communities from potential risks.
  • Drive continuous improvements in Health, Safety, Security, and environmental protection through responsible care, addressing process vulnerabilities, integrating public and customer feedback, leveraging technology, and applying best business practices to exceed customer expectations.

Quality Assurance

  • Stay well-versed in the Company’s Quality policies and actively contribute to the compliance and enhancement of Weatherford’s Management System.
  • Make service quality a top priority, striving for continual improvement across all business operations.

Operations Management

  • Prioritize safety and service quality across all business areas.
  • Exercise ‘Stop Work Authority’ in the event of non-conformance, ensuring that operations are suspended to address safety concerns.
  • Facilitate HSE orientation and training for new and existing employees.
  • Coordinate and assist with regulatory HSE Compliance Training, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
  • Support HSE inspections and audits in both assigned areas and on-site locations.
  • Collaborate with local management to develop and present HSE meetings, training, and awareness programs.
  • Participate in investigating all incidents and near-misses, ensuring accurate reporting in the Weatherford Performance Tracking System (WPTS).
  • Assist in the development of emergency response procedures, conduct mock drills, and ensure all mandatory training is completed.
  • Ensure adherence to Weatherford OEPS and Operating and Technical Procedures, Workplace Instructions, and all safety protocols.
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and support HSSE meetings, training, and reports across labs, facilities, and offices.
  • Actively monitor IVMS and participate in radar entry, road safety awareness, and health support initiatives for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian legal norms and maintain HSSE records.
  • Support lab operations teams in the preparation of TRA, SOPs, ERP, Legal Register, HSSEP, Environmental Management Plan, Aspect & Impact Register.
  • Regularly report on monthly HSSE performance and maintain accurate databases using MS Office.

Communication

  • Effectively communicate HSE information across all organizational levels.
  • Educate managers and supervisors on customer, regulatory, and business requirements impacting operations.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

Financial Accountability

  • Demonstrate financial responsibility by adhering to budgets, processing expenses within approved timelines, and following company financial policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
  • HSSE Diploma (ADIS-MSBTE/PGDISM/RLI/CLI), NEBOSH IGC, or Lead Auditor certification.
  • 8-15 years of experience in HSE management systems within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSSE Management Systems and their implementation.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, time management, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 4 years of HSE-related experience, including HSSEM, Contractor & Client Management in the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing industry.
  • Root Cause Analysis Training (e.g., 5WHY/Fishbone).
  • ISO-certified lead auditor (ISO 14001 & 45001).
  • Prior experience in management or advisory roles within the HSE field.
