Mission/Main Duties
Actively assist the HSE Head for his/her Business line with EHS issues.
Create, implement, and monitor safety management systems for projects that are consistent with Group requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory needs.
Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, and trainings throughout project locations to guarantee compliance with safety standards.
Able can travel up to 30% of the time.
Provide expert advice to project teams on safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
Effective contractor management skills.
Provide practical advice to improve safety performance.
Prepare and present detailed reports on safety data, trends, and improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement safety training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Lead investigations into safety accidents to determine the root causes and offer preventive actions.
Prepare and submit detailed incident reports, and save documentation for compliance purposes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to incorporate safety throughout the project.
Highlight the organization’s dedication to safety excellence and continual development.
Profile/Skills
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Engineering or comparable discipline.
Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) authorized by the state technical board, RLI, CLI, or NICMAR.
Advanced certifications such as NEBOSH and IOSH will provide an extra benefit.
Experience: 5–7 years in building.
Technical skills include familiarity with national and international safety laws, such as ISO standards.
Proficiency with incident management tools and reporting systems.
Proficiency with data management tools.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
