An exciting opportunity is open for a dedicated HSE Engineer to contribute to the ENI Liverpool Bay Project, focusing on decommissioning and carbon capture and storage. This role supports the Project HSE Manager and plays a crucial part in developing and enhancing the safety management system throughout the engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning (EPIC) phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and supervise HSE procedures across project and construction activities
- Lead comprehensive risk management processes, including HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, and Hazard and Effect Management
- Ensure full alignment with regulatory and contractual HSE requirements
- Plan and execute internal HSE audits
- Coordinate all safety documentation and HSE deliverables under CDM regulations
- Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring root cause analysis and reporting
- Assess supplier HSE capabilities through readiness reviews and document evaluations
- Support operational roles such as HSE Trainer, PTW Officer, and HSE Officer when required
- Monitor HSE performance metrics and maintain accurate KPI records
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in HSE, engineering, or a related field
- Certifications: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH Diploma
- Experience: 3 to 7 years in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with experience in onshore construction projects, CDM compliance, and HSE regulation management
