About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental standards. In this role, you will collaborate with management to identify workplace hazards, develop mitigation plans, and drive their implementation to promote a culture of safety.
You will be responsible for conducting internal audits, performing HSE inspections, investigating incidents, and preparing KPI reports. Reporting to the HES Facility Manager, your focus will be on deploying effective business improvement and corrective action plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct internal audits, HSE walks, and investigations into safety issues.
- Analyze data, generate performance reports, and track KPIs.
- Support maintenance activities by reviewing subcontractor Safe Systems of Work and associated RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements).
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety improvement initiatives.
Experience and Skills Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a multinational organization.
- Registered Lead/Internal Auditor in Safety & Environmental standards (ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office with advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and implement effective changes.
- Self-motivated and capable of planning, problem-solving, and working under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Certification in ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 is ideal.
- Qualified professional (ASPP certification preferred under D.Lgs 81/08).
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
