Job Summary
Kickstart your career in aerospace manufacturing with an exceptional opportunity as an Advanced Health, Safety & Environment Apprentice at our state-of-the-art facilities in East Cowes, Isle of Wight. This exciting four-year program is designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to excel in the field.
You’ll work under the Level 3 Safety, Health, and Environment Technician Apprenticeship Standard, gaining exposure across our Osborne and Falcon Yard manufacturing facilities. Upon completion, you’ll be prepared to step into roles such as:
- Site Health & Safety Advisor – Managing and advancing Health, Safety, and Environmental practices on-site.
- Site Environmental Advisor – Addressing and developing site-specific environmental issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with company policies, including terms and conditions of employment.
- Demonstrate diligence, punctuality, and active participation in both work and training activities.
- Maintain detailed records, attend relevant courses, and complete all assessments to achieve training objectives.
- Uphold Health & Safety legislation, adhering to individual responsibilities.
- Represent the company professionally as a brand ambassador.
- Fulfill all requirements outlined in the Apprenticeship Training Agreement to ensure successful program completion.
Qualifications Required
To be eligible for this opportunity, you must:
- Be legally authorized to work in the UK.
- Hold a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), including:
- Mathematics: Grade 9-4
- English: Grade 9-4
- Science: Grade 9-4
- Plus, two additional subjects at Grade 9-4
