This HSE Advisor position at Stream-Flo Industries in Midland, TX offers the opportunity to oversee and support health, safety, and environmental initiatives within a dynamic oil and gas environment. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk control, and internal HSE systems management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support branch operations by ensuring alignment with corporate HSE policies, OSHA, EPA, DOT, TCEQ regulations, and client requirements
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System
  • Ensure accurate training documentation, permit compliance, and reporting standards are met
  • Track, manage, and report hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead incident investigations and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Create and manage site-specific industrial hygiene plans
  • Compile and evaluate HSE data for internal reviews and external audits
  • Conduct routine facility inspections (e.g., fire extinguishers, eyewash stations)
  • Deliver HSE communication and coordinate site safety training and meetings
  • Oversee third-party safety training and new hire onboarding processes
  • Participate in customer HSE meetings and foster professional relationships
  • Facilitate job hazard analyses (JHAs), safety assessments (JSAs), and change management (MOC)
  • Perform field audits and provide real-time HSE support in field operations
  • Remain available to support HSE incidents or emergencies beyond standard hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • CSP or ASP certification considered an asset
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HSE-focused role within oil and gas or equivalent industry training
  • Strong foundation in regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and data-driven decision making
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting or safety software tools
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed with strong organizational ability and task follow-through
  • Capable of balancing field activities and office-based responsibilities
