Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement annual HSE improvement plans aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Oversee project-level HSE interface activities, ensuring compliance with documented requirements and contributing to future planning.
- Facilitate clear communication of all HSE interface obligations to relevant personnel.
- Lead or support HSE incident investigations and ensure timely submission of required reports.
- Coordinate both internal and external audits to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Share key takeaways from incidents and accidents as part of the lessons learned process.
- Capture and distribute project-specific lessons learned, highlighting any systemic deficiencies for corrective action.
- Ensure emergency response procedures are in place and fully communicated to all personnel.
- Collaborate with Client HSE Representatives and on-site Safety Representatives to maintain transparent safety practices.
- Participate in project HSE meetings, workshops, and forums to promote safety leadership.
- Maintain systems that monitor and report HSE performance across the project lifecycle.
- Develop a structured schedule of offshore or site HSE visits for both management and leadership teams.
- Champion workforce engagement in all HSE-related initiatives and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- CHST or similar certification in a relevant technical or safety discipline (preferred, not mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years in a technical or HSE-related position.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices within industrial environments.
- Proven planning and organizational skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, suitable for internal and external engagement.
