Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Health Safety Environment Coordinator to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for the complete operation, development, and continuous improvement of our corporate HSE Management System. From audits and compliance to performance monitoring and system upgrades, you’ll be helping to shape a safer, healthier workplace—one process at a time.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- HSE System Oversight: Manage and refine the corporate HSE Management System, recommending updates based on project feedback and lessons learned.
- Project HSE Plans: Review and verify the accuracy of project-specific HSE plans. Propose updates to meet current standards and risks.
- Performance Reporting: Collect and analyze HSE performance metrics. Report findings to the Head of HSE and the HSE Data Analyst.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure operations meet all local, client-specific, and global standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001, SA8000, OSHA) through regular audits.
- Incident Investigations: Support investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Document Control: Maintain current HSE documents and ensure all files align with global standards.
- Inspections & Audits: Lead or assist in audits and field visits to ensure HSE compliance at project sites.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with relevant departments to drive system performance enhancements and safety culture initiatives.
What You’ll Need
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical).
- NEBOSH and IOSH certifications are mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant HSE experience.
- Must have worked on large-scale gas plant projects with Saudi-based clients.
- Served in a similar role on at least 4–5 major projects.
