Your Responsibilities
- Advise and support the site manager and operational departments in complying with legal and internal requirements for safety, environmental protection, health, and sustainability.
- Monitor legal regulations and changes, analyze relevant information, and communicate updates to the site manager and departments.
- Drive continuous improvement and cultural development in safety, environmental awareness, health, and sustainability at the site.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system; conduct internal audits across Klüber Lubrication sites.
- Collaborate with global/local HSE teams and external partners (company physicians, authorities, associations, etc.), in coordination with supervisors.
- Provide technical leadership to safety officers, first-aiders, and fire wardens; organize training and ensure adequate staffing of certified personnel.
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and evaluations of facilities, equipment, and work methods; compile resulting reports.
Your Profile
- Technical or scientific degree or equivalent qualification, supplemented by professional experience.
- Several years of experience in relevant fields (e.g., production, maintenance, process engineering, HSE) within the chemical industry.
- Certification as a Safety Specialist (e.g., Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Advanced MS Office skills; SAP (PP) knowledge is a plus.
- Team-oriented with cross-hierarchical collaboration skills.
