Key Skills:

• EHS Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, including NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or Post-Graduate certification in OSH from CLI or RLI.
• Leadership & Coordination: Ability to assist project leadership in EHS management, act as the EHS Representative, and ensure compliance with L&T standards and local regulations.
• Risk Management: Proficiency in conducting EHS audits, inspections, HAZOP, HAZID, static and dynamic risk assessments, and impact assessments.
• Training & Development: Skilled in Training Needs Analysis (TNA), root cause analysis, and preparing actionable EHS reports.
• Communication & Implementation: Excellent communicator with a proactive and result-driven approach, capable of implementing safety measures aggressively and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educational Background: B.Tech/BE or equivalent in Engineering.
• EHS Certifications: NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or a Post-Graduate qualification in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) from recognized institutes like CLI or RLI.

Job Responsibilities:

1. EHS Management Support: Assist the Project Head in effectively managing EHS practices and ensuring compliance.
2. Representation: Serve as the EHS Representative for the project, acting as the key liaison for all EHS-related activities.
3. Compliance Monitoring: Oversee, monitor, and report contractor activities to ensure adherence to L&T standards, procedures, and applicable legal frameworks.
4. Risk & Safety Assessments: Conduct EHS audits, inspections, HAZOP, HAZID, and comprehensive risk assessments (static and dynamic).
5. Training & Reporting: Perform training needs analysis (TNA), root cause analysis, and prepare detailed EHS impact assessments and reports.
6. Policy Implementation: Drive the implementation of safety policies and ensure effective communication across all levels of the project.
