Key Responsibilities
As an EHS Coordinator, your duties include:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all EPA and OSHA documentation aligns with corporate EH&S guidelines.
- Risk Mitigation: Partnering with employees and managers to identify and address EH&S concerns proactively.
- Job Hazard Analysis: Managing the hazard database and ensuring the availability of required PPE.
- Incident Management: Documenting and following up on incidents, injuries, near misses, and safe behaviors to drive improvements.
- Training & Coordination: Organizing EH&S training sessions and maintaining compliance records.
- Emergency Response: Guiding facility emergency response activities and preparedness.
- Waste Management: Overseeing RCRA compliance activities and data entry for monitoring, sampling, and disposal.
- Vendor Management: Coordinating inspections and services, such as fire safety, sprinklers, and wastewater.
- Team Leadership: Leading the safety committee and fostering a culture of safety across all teams.

To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent. OSHA certification is a bonus!
- Experience: 1–2 years in EH&S roles, especially within manufacturing, agriculture, or similar industries.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with EPA, OSHA, state workers’ compensation laws, and wastewater compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an understanding of safety metrics.
- Leadership Ability: Strong communication skills to lead meetings, train employees, and build cross-functional relationships.
- Flexibility: Availability to work second and third shifts as needed.
