Key Responsibilities
- Support all departments by facilitating and documenting Risk and Opportunity Assessments
- Oversee the chemical management system to ensure accuracy, compliance, and safety
- Maintain and enhance EHS platforms including SharePoint, databases, and analytics tools via Office 365
- Manage Industrial Hygiene programs, ensuring records are updated and procedures are aligned with safety standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the site’s EHS Management System
- Coordinate efforts related to the site’s Proactive Safety program
- Assist in investigations of complex EHS incidents and help implement effective corrective actions
- Organize and lead special EHS-focused meetings and initiatives
- Provide operational support to the EHS Manager as needed
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in designing and executing EHS programs in a manufacturing setting
- Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations and EHS compliance challenges
- Ability to build and manage skills and training matrixes to ensure workforce readiness
- Strong grasp of risk analysis techniques and effective corrective action strategies
- Comfortable navigating SharePoint and SAP platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene principles and EHS management systems
- Proven problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
