Position Summary:

Reporting to the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, this function supports and guides all elements of the EHS application in a non-unionized production surroundings. The EHS group guarantees compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, in addition to Corporate EHS rules.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify, verify, and propose solutions for place of business risks associated with business hygiene and safety.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, production, purchasing, and transport teams to decorate protection initiatives.
  • Investigate employee health and safety concerns, supplying well timed tips and resolutions.
  • Classify damage/illness incidents according to OSHA file-maintaining requirements and analyze developments for corrective movements.
  • Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure EHS rules and tactics are updated, well distributed, and maintained.
  • Train employees on protection methods, projects, and assets.
  • Oversee and manipulate the Job Safety Analysis and Safety Suggestion Programs.
  • Serve as a member of the Emergency First Responder Team.
  • Support and coordinate the plant Health and Safety Committee, along with conducting safety inspections and maintaining documentation.
  • Deliver EHS education for new hires and specialised programs.
  • Conduct commercial hygiene sampling for chemical hazards, managing third-celebration services as wished, and maintaining compliance records.
  • Assist the EHS Manager in managing environmental applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s diploma in environmental science, protection, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 1-2 years of EHS enjoy, preferably in production.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA guidelines; familiarity with Worker’s Compensation, FMLA, and HIPAA is a plus.
  • Excellent conversation, interpersonal, and organizational abilties.
