This role centers on ensuring Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) compliance across a network of vendors, with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Audit vendor operations to ensure full compliance with EHS standards, legal regulations, and customer-specific requirements—especially in electronics recycling and refurbishment.
- Lead on-site and remote desktop audits, including planning, execution, documentation, and reporting.
- Manage corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Maintain and update audit documentation and audit program records via SharePoint.
- Collaborate with internal departments to implement and verify effective corrective actions.
- Support ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 documentation, and assist during certification audits.
- Provide guidance on ISO best practices to employees.
- Stay informed on updates in EHS regulations, industry trends, and ISO standard revisions, and communicate relevant changes internally.
- Build relationships across departments and vendor networks to support EHS initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the EHS scope.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in EHS management, including internal or external auditing within North America.
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage audit schedules and reports.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in technical writing, content editing, and presenting complex EHS topics to varied audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experienced in working collaboratively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
