Key Responsibilities and Qualifications for Consideration
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) roles in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. in Chemistry (preferably with 3-4 years of EHS experience in a factory setting).
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.) with 1-2 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing facility.
- Experience:
- Proven working knowledge of statutory requirements related to the Inspectorate of Factories and Pollution Control Board.
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management).
- Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment processes.
- Proficiency in the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively train and develop teams.
- Competence in managing emergency situations in a factory environment.
Additional Skills That Will Excite Us:
- Experience with software applications such as Entropy, MS Office, BC in the Cloud, Everbridge, and Power BI will be considered a plus.
- Willingness to complete an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (candidates already certified as Safety Officers by the Chief Inspector of Factories & Boilers, Government of Goa, will be given preference).
