Voith Turbo, a global technology leader in drive systems and industrial services, is seeking a qualified HSE & QM Expert for its facility in St. Georgen am Steinfelde, Austria. This position combines environmental and occupational safety leadership with quality and energy management in a high-performing industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Serve as Environmental Protection Officer and oversee the Environmental Management System under ISO 14001.
- Act as HSE Manager and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.
- Coordinate the Energy Management System in accordance with ISO 50001.
- Perform duties as a legally appointed Safety Specialist under Austrian regulations.
- Maintain and support certifications in collaboration with central functions.
- Organize and participate in internal and external audits.
- Implement corporate and divisional policies related to HSE and QM.
- Support quality assurance processes for new serial production products.
- Track quality-related costs per order and generate key performance reports.
- Assist in managing technical changes and obsolescence handling.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant technical education and in-depth knowledge of ISO standards listed above.
- Several years of experience in quality management, HSE, or as a certified safety specialist — ideally within the automotive or serial production sectors.
- Strong willingness to deepen expertise and continue professional development.
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Fluent in German and good command of English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel for short international assignments.
- Team player with strong initiative, excellent communication, and coordination skills.
