Your Role Will Encompass
- Manage and monitor HSSE documentation for the project, including HSE forms, RAMS, safety plans, risk assessments, and waste management protocols.
- Work closely with managers to flag and resolve environmental and safety concerns.
- Prepare and update weekly and monthly HSE reports and maintain documentation accuracy.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to verify compliance with safety procedures and local regulations.
- Collect HSSE documentation from subcontractors and ensure completeness.
- Distribute and inspect PPE and waste handling tools, ensuring readiness and compliance.
- Lead incident and accident investigations and drive follow-up measures.
- Identify training needs, support delivery, and track effectiveness.
- Uphold and promote a zero-accident culture across all project teams.
- Verify the availability and condition of welfare facilities on-site.
- Advise the Site Manager on local HSE legal obligations and best practices.
- Support site safety through inspections, early detection of risks, and proactive resolution of issues.
- Take on any additional safety duties as assigned by Site or Country HSE management.
What You Bring to the Role
- Certification as a Construction Site HSE Coordinator.
- Comfort working in variable outdoor conditions (heat/cold exposure).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capable of multitasking and independently managing workload with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a confident presence on site.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on HSE experience in construction or related fields.
- Background in energy project environments is highly regarded.
- University degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is a bonus.
- Working knowledge of Bulgarian HSE regulations is essential.
- Fluency in English and Bulgarian is mandatory.
- Willingness to relocate to the designated project site.
