Core Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities on-site, ensuring robust risk management and procedural adherence.
- Partner with site leadership and employees to drive a strong EHS culture aligned with regulatory expectations and business values.
- Assist in inspections, site audits, observations, and EHS incident investigations—identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate EHS training programs and deliver induction sessions for new personnel and contractors.
- Support emergency preparedness efforts, including drills and updates to emergency response procedures.
- Prepare technical and compliance reports to fulfill regulatory reporting obligations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS matters on-site and engage with relevant government and regulatory bodies as required.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of environmental and operational permits for ongoing site activities.
- Evaluate workplace hazards and provide proactive input to ensure EHS compliance in new projects and operational changes.
- Monitor sustainability efforts and assist in implementing Boeing’s environmental initiatives.
- Review and assess vendor, contractor, and supplier activities for alignment with Boeing’s EHS requirements.
Additional Scope
While this role is based in Middle Wallop, some travel may be required to support EHS efforts at other Boeing locations within the region.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety or Environmental Management.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an aircraft maintenance or aviation operations environment is considered a strong asset.
