Key Responsibilities

- Support the creation and refinement of HSSE procedures, embedding best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
- Ensure that every project and office maintains updated HSSE compliance registers aligned with national regulations.
- Monitor and strengthen the HSSE risk management process across all operations and regions.
- Guide project management teams in the implementation of the HSSE management system, including maintaining ISO certifications.
- Develop and deliver an internal audit schedule to ensure consistency and accountability across the management system.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of audits and inspections performed at all locations and ensure they drive tangible improvements.
- Ensure that all incidents are properly reported and investigated with a clear focus on preventing recurrence.
- Oversee the timely and effective closure of corrective actions related to HSSE findings or incidents.
- Provide expert guidance during investigations of High Potential and Recordable Incidents.
- Ensure HSSE training programs are delivered effectively and meet the operational needs of each project and office.
- Review emergency response procedures to confirm readiness at every site and office.
- Support business development teams by crafting strong, best-practice HSSE responses for tender submissions.
- Validate and analyze HSSE data, preparing accurate performance reports within required timeframes.
- Track HSSE performance indicators and support the rollout of improvement strategies where necessary.
- Identify performance trends and highlight areas for concern or opportunity in safety performance.
- Assist project teams in setting project-specific HSSE objectives and meaningful KPIs.
- Participate in the hiring process to ensure qualified HSSE professionals are recruited for project needs.
- Confirm all HSSE staff have up-to-date job descriptions clearly aligned with their scope and responsibilities.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional growth of HSSE staff across the country.
