️ Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit the Project Safety Plan in advance for timely inspection by the Safety Team.
- Provide a schedule of upcoming projects to ensure proactive safety planning.
- Oversee site activities in line with the Site Safety Management Plan and approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Ensure all operations strictly follow EtihadWE safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to evaluate contractor HSE performance.
- Ensure contractor compliance with UAE safety regulations and EtihadWE guidelines.
- Report on HSE KPIs, manage accident/incident investigations, and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum [X] years of experience in HSE roles, ideally within utility or infrastructure projects.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent safety qualification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws and EtihadWE standards is an added advantage.
