About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive – EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) to join our team in India. This role is critical in ensuring sustainable operations, compliance with environmental regulations, and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Water & Wastewater Monitoring: Track and manage daily water consumption and wastewater generation across the plant.
- ETP Operations: Monitor and maintain records for the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring optimal functionality and compliance.
- SOP Development: Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for environmental monitoring and ETP operations.
- Treated Water Compliance: Ensure treated water is reused within the plant, with continuous monitoring to maintain Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels within permissible limits.
- Monthly Environmental Reporting: Compile and maintain detailed records for submission to GPCB and environmental auditors—including data on production, water/fuel/power usage, and waste output.
- Third-Party Monitoring: Coordinate monthly environment monitoring through approved third-party vendors, following regulatory guidelines.
- Drain & Scrubber Oversight: Inspect and monitor all effluent drain lines, including storm drains and process scrubbers.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Liaise with department heads to gather monthly operational data such as production output, water and energy consumption.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain and restock first aid boxes at all relevant site locations.
- EHS DTC Activities: Support site-wide EHS awareness, training, and compliance activities under DTC initiatives.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: B.Sc or M.Sc in Environmental Science / Chemistry / related fields
- Professional Certifications: PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety) or ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)
