Role Summary:
Lead the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) initiatives on the plant, supplying technical information, management, and threat control aid. Ensure compliance with HSSE rules and organization requirements while fostering a robust safety tradition amongst employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
HSSE Leadership & Compliance
- Provide technical and managerial help to make certain effective execution of HSSE sports across the plant.
- Develop, enforce, and hold the HSSE management device, ensuring compliance with NOMAC requirements, prison regulations, and contractual responsibilities.
- Conduct hazard checks and task critiques to proactively perceive and mitigate ability hazards.
- Organize and lead meetings with contractors, sub-contractors, and providers, making sure focus and adherence to protection requirements.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and file HSE performance metrics to the Country and Regional HSE Manager.
- Conduct normal website inspections and audits to reveal HSSE management effectiveness.
- Prepare reports and escalate HSSE issues for timely resolution at the Regional and Corporate Level.
Training & Safety Culture Development
- Deliver HSSE schooling applications for personnel and contractors to boost safety standards and protocols.
- Coach and guide contractors on HSSE fine practices, making sure alignment with employer expectancies.
- Lead safety campaigns to sell a strong safety tradition throughout the staff.
Emergency Preparedness & Incident Management
- Oversee and execute emergency drills and ridicule scenarios to test and enhance reaction readiness.
- Ensure spark off reporting and response to HSSE incidents following emergency protocols.
- Lead investigations into reportable incidents, figuring out root causes and enforcing corrective and preventive actions.
Security Management
- Implement and enforce safety strategies for plant and office facilities, which includes:
- Access manage & monitoring
- Vehicle and personnel assessments
- Security patrols
- Incident reporting and research
- Ensure protection of organization property, employees, and property in opposition to security threats, theft, or violations of felony and business enterprise guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Proven song report in HSSE control with experience in industrial safety, plant operations, or production environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent expert protection certifications.
- Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ISO 45001, and different applicable safety policies.
- Proficiency in threat control, emergency preparedness, and HSSE system implementation.
- Skills:
- Strong management, training, and conversation abilities.
- Ability to lead investigations, enforce compliance, and force a sturdy safety lifestyle.
- Proficiency in HSSE reporting software program and compliance tools.
