About the Role:
At Elvera, safety and quality are at the core of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced and motivated HSEQ Manager to take charge of safety, environmental, quality, and occupational health matters. In this key role, you will contribute significantly to our sustainability goals and operational excellence.
You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) while enhancing internal processes through our quality management systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic market environment strengthened by recent business acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
- Monitoring, managing, and anticipating safety and environmental risks.
- Delivering safety training and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Managing and maintaining quality documentation, reporting, and auditing processes.
- Actively engaging in stakeholder collaboration and dialogue.
- Leading internal accident investigations and ensuring effective resolutions.
- Supervising the Safety and Quality department, overseeing a team of three professionals.
- Bringing HSEQ principles into the daily operations, including on-site activities.
What We Expect:
- Experience in HSEQ roles within industries such as process manufacturing, infrastructure, or similar fields.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, safety and environmental standards, and the CSRD Sustainability Directive.
- Analytical and proactive working style.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in both Finnish and English.
- Willingness to travel within Finland as required (typically weekly).
- Relevant educational background.
