Key Responsibilities:

  • EHS Support: Assist the project organization with various EHS aspects, including planning, managing the preparation and implementation of changes, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing coordination and monitoring activities.
  • EHS Roadmap Development: Prepare and track the project’s EHS Roadmap, including action planning and progress monitoring.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee, report, and communicate EHS performance metrics.
  • Audits and Investigations: Conduct EHS audits, evaluations, and incident investigations as needed.
  • Contractor Management: Execute EHS activities related to contractor management, such as providing training, conducting audits, and issuing work permits.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure MESH requirements and specific programs are implemented and adhered to during the expansion project and construction activities.
  • Training and Communication: Organize and monitor MESH training and communication related to the capacity expansion project.
  • Observation Reporting: Facilitate and track reporting of EHS observations related to the capacity expansion project.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (EHS preferred).
  • Experience: Experience in managing construction operations is considered a plus.

Skills

  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of risk assessment, EHS legislation, and auditing processes.
  • Languages: Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English.
  • Standards Proficiency: Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills, systematic and diligent work approach, ability to prioritize, solution-oriented mindset, responsibility, and capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Tools: Proficiency in MS Office tools, including SharePoint.
