Job Responsibilities
- On-Site Safety Management: Serve as the on-site safety professional, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, guidelines, and regulations. You will monitor and enforce the proper implementation of HSE rules and procedures.
- Safe Work Environment: Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with BG-Bau and ASIG guidelines. Actively engage in daily operations and act as the primary contact for internal and external HSE supervisors.
- Accident Prevention and Reporting: Advocate for accident prevention by identifying risks and implementing measures to avoid workplace incidents. Handle incident reporting, investigation, and analysis when necessary.
- HSE Inspections and Audits: Participate in the planning and execution of regular HSE inspections, audits, and corrective action plans to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A degree in safety management, engineering, environmental science, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, a certification as a safety specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) with relevant professional experience in EHS/HSE, ideally in the construction industry, is highly valued.
- HSE Expertise: Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and applicable legislation. Familiarity with relevant norms and best practices is essential.
- Language Skills: Excellent German proficiency is required; English language skills are an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and inspire others about HSE topics.
